Job description
As software developer in the Extenda Domestic Clients team you will be part of a cross functional team working with business-critical solutions for well-known customer brands. The role will require working collaboratively with application consultants, test engineers, product owners, project managers and other developers to deliver solutions with high quality to our clients.
You will work in-house and will participate in activities in complex and challenging client projects from inception to delivery as well as maintaining the solutions.

Experience and Skills
Among a variety of products, you will primarily focus on:
The POS product – a rich and platform independent Java client application which enables high checkout speed and key functionalities in an offline mode to ensure business continuity. It offers customer service for both fashion and food retailers with store sizes ranging from small boutiques to hypermarkets.
The Central Office – a central back end system connecting all stores and tills together updating the stores with new data such as prices and promotions and receiving and aggregating all sales transactions from each store in near real time.
Other products used by some of our customers:
Add-ons – connections with external service integrated with the POS, like card payments, gift card solutions, digital receipts, cash management solutions, invoicing solutions, mobile payments, tax refunds, loyalty solutions and campaign management.
Mobilepos – Handheld POS client running on for example and iPhone, allowing the staff in stores to move around and assist the customer with scanning items and complete a full sales transaction including card payments in any location in the store.
Self checkout – Allows the customer to independently scan and pay for the items they purchase without having to wait in line for a cashier to be available.
The role is based at Extendas office in Gothenburg and you will report to the Professional Services Manager for the Domestic Clients team who is situated in Stockholm
